ooh im staying in the international corridor so nahh i never really make any swedish friends. dont really have a lot of cute guys la but got a lot of classy girls like what everybody says. and school starts in september so i'm just bumming around.

yiwen ahhh when you ask me to come read about your mno group i thought there's some bitchy group members. HAHAHA! i almost died when i read your entry. LUCKILY your slot's changed yay! MNO needs discussions during tutorials i dont think you'd have made it through!

Linda! remember to upload the video k! i wan to watch you all:) hmmm, i do miss all of you man. miss those rehearsals/suppers/deciding costumes/putting makeup/getting nervous/complaining about forgetting steps after performing hahaha. Im actually stuck between what I want to do, and what I should do. I know striking a balance will be good, but I still need to weigh my priorities..Sorry i made it sound so serious. haha. im just ranting la...this issue has been on my mind. hope you all understand. but nonetheless, i still come visit you girls in A2! and hopefully we can do another item together.. totally damn emo ah... hahaha. i miss temadance! :)

was bored as usual and decided to surf around. found this entertaining picture! shall copy and paste the descriptions and all here.

Not all environment solutions involve modern technology or new ideas. Grass roofs on houses in Norway are one such case. Translated literally, torvtak is “turf roof.” For hundreds of years turf roofs have been popular in Norway.

No two turf roofs are the same. Some are bright green and almost velvety. Others are golden and look like they’re growing wheat or oats. A number of turf roofs have flowers mixed in with the grass, and a few have small trees.

The advantages of turf roofs are many. They are very heavy, so they help to stabilize the house; they provide good insulation; and they are long-lasting. Special skills and materials are required to prepare the roof for the turf topping.

Turf roofs in Norway are a tradition and you will see them everywhere. This is not some new architectural trend in London or New York!
